Preparation for people joining the team or interviewing for a TAM role. Each topic has a short explanation, a self-test question, a sketch of a strong answer, and public resources. Check a topic off once you can answer its question aloud without notes.
A two-week plan
Days 1 to 4. Security concepts. Read the CISA KEV and FIRST EPSS pages, then explain prioritization out loud to a friend.
Days 5 to 9. Hands-on. Call a public API with curl, parse the JSON with jq, and write one SQL query that counts findings per asset.
Days 10 to 12. TAM craft. Draft a 30/60/90 plan and an escalation update for a made-up customer.
Days 13 to 14. Practice scenarios, out loud and timed. Read the website and public blog posts of the company you are joining, and write your own questions for the team.

Answer each one aloud in about three minutes. Interviewers listen for a clear structure, honest tradeoffs, and good questions more than for one correct answer.
